The Education Policy unit brings together education specialists who have the mandate to support the Secretary General in the implementation of the CONFEMEN action plan. Thus, the activities of the cluster focus on the production of new educational strategies, in particular through the publication of reflection and orientation documents, while supporting member countries in the implementation of their educational policies.

The Evaluation division includes the CONFEMEN Education Systems Analysis Program (PASEC) which was created in 1991, following the first World Conference on Education for All in Jomtien (Thailand, 1990). PASEC’s mission is to provide decision-makers with objective information on their education system in order to guide their choices in terms of educational policies.

The Management division is responsible for the financial, accounting and material management of the STP. The division also advises the Secretary General in the management of human resources and provides advisory support concerning the financial aspect of partnership relations and in terms of logistics relating to the holding of activities.

The Communication Department’s mission is to ensure greater visibility for CONFEMEN while constantly developing strategies likely to promote dynamic communication, both inside and outside the organization. Its actions also aim to provide partners and various target audiences with information on education in member countries.
